Famous mountaineering region, unforgettable panoramic views, well conserved bio-diversity. Gokyo lake and Cho La Pass trek takes you to the foot of Mt. Everest traversing across the high Cho La pass at an altitude of 5,420m. This is a classic and an unbelievable trekking, visiting all of the high valleys of the Khumbu area with extra time at Gokyo to explore the upper Gokyo valley. While in Gokyo valley, we will have time to climb Gokyo Ri 5,360m. From here we can observe the world famous four peaks above 8000m namely Cho Oyu (8201m.), Makalu (8463m.), Lhotse (8,516m.) and Mt. Everest (8,848m.) exposed above Gokyo. Our camp at Gorakshep provides the opportunity to ascend to Kala Patthar 5,545m for more spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, including the black rocky ramparts of Everest's southwest face. Gokyo lake and Cho La Pass trek will lead to Gokyo Lake and over the Cho La pass making a circuit of Tawache and Cholatse. Emerging into the Khumbu Valley above Lobuche the trail continues up to Kala Patthar and then back to Lukla via Tengboche and Namche Bazaar. To top off this unique trek we climb Gokyo Ri (5,488m) for a panoramic view of the greatest mountain scenery in the world - including five 8,000m giants and innumerable other peaks of the Khumbu Himal.
