Itinerary

Day 1: : Arrival in Paro and Local Sightseeing +

Arrive at Paro International Airport and visit the town’s key sites including Rinpung Dzong and Kichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Paro Valley.

Day 2: : Paro to Thimphu +

Drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. Visit the National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma statue, Tashichho Dzong, and the thriving local markets. Experience a craft school or a monastic institute visit.

Day 3: : Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass +

Journey through Dochula Pass with spectacular Himalayan views. Explore Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful fortresses. Visit Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple.

Day 4: : Punakha Exploration and Gangtey Valley +

Explore more of Punakha’s nearby villages or drive to Gangtey Valley (Phobjikha Valley), home of the rare black-necked cranes. Walk among the rhododendron forests and visit the Gangtey Goemba Monastery.

Day 5: : Gangtey to Paro +

Drive back to Paro stopping at scenic spots, visiting Royal Botanical Gardens and Druk Wangyal Lhakhang. Rest or stroll through Paro town in the evening.

Day 6: : Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery and Departure +

Hike early morning to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched on a cliff 900 meters above Paro Valley. After the hike, transfer to the airport for your departure.
